Tour starts in vibrant and historical Athens; next stop is Santorini with the sensational sunsets, the fascinating excavations, and the iconic black and red beaches;  the picturesque city of Chania in Crete, immersing yourself in its Venetian heritage and sampling the island’s rich culinary traditions; Rhodes island with lovely beaches, mountains with pine wood forests, traditional mountain villages, and archaeological sites.

DAY 1ARRIVAL IN ATHENS

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted and tranferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 2MORNING ATHENS GUIDED CITY TOUR

The striking contrast between breathtaking monuments of a glorious past and modern elegant structures is what you will enjoy during your tour of Athens. Visit the Acropolis,the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens. Drive to the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus, the Panathinaikon Stadium(site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896), the Tomb of the unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. See views of government buildings and elegant structures of the 19th century. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University, National Library. In contrast, conclude your tour with a visit to the new Acropolis museum, a marvel of architecture with a full exhibition of the glory of Ancient Athens. Balance of day at leisure.

DAY 3ATHENS / SANTORINI

At the indicated time you will be transferred to Piraeus port for your high speed ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival in Santorini you will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 4SANTORINI SEMI PRIVATE SUNSET CATAMARAN CRUISE

Morning free to explore the island. In the afternoon join the 5 hour semi-private catamaran sunset cruise along the caldera. Whilst taking in the striking landscape of the Santorinian sunset you can also enjoy swimming, sunbathing and snorkeling in private bays like the famous volcanic hot springs. Satisfy your appetite with famous Greek dishes, enjoy a rich barbecue on board, with fresh seafood and taste not only our culinary skills but also the history of Santorini which will amaze you and the cultural diversity which will intrigue you.

DAY 5SANTORINI AT LEISURE

Experience pure relaxation in Santorini’s enchanting embrace, where the sun paints golden tones in the sky and the Aegean Sea shimmers. Explore whitewashed villages with charming houses and vibrant blue domes. Indulge in authentic Greek cuisine and local hospitality. Cap off the day with Santorini’s famous sunset, a fiery canvas of oranges, crimson, and purples casting an ethereal glow over the island.

DAY 6SANTORINI / CRETE

At the indicated time you will be transferred to the port for your high speed boat ride to Heraklion Crete. Upon arrival you will be transferred to your hotel in Chania town.

DAY 7CRETAN WINE AND OLIVE OIL TOUR

For the first stop of your tour, your expert guide will take you to a traditional family winery, established in 1993, unique due to its refreshing approach to farming and wine production. There, you’ll experience Crete’s nature first-hand, walking along rows of olive trees and tasting award-winning wines, such as the local varieties of ‘Vidiano’, ‘Muscat’ or ‘Spinas’, and international varieties like ‘Grenache Rouge’, ‘Syrah’ and ‘Mouverde’. You’ll even get to pair your wine with an assortment of Cretan goods, including fresh vegetables, cold-cuts, and local cheese!

Following the visit to the winery, you will marvel at the beautiful neighborhoods of the island, heading towards traditional Cretan villages. Your wanderings will lead you to the museum of the oldest olive tree in the world, which is estimated to be around 3000 years old!Continue the tour with a visit to an alluring winery in the region of Kissamos, where you’ll taste a unique white wine blend made with the combination of ‘Vilana’, ‘Vidiano’, ‘Assyrtiko’ and other delectable wines, always paired with Greek snacks.Next, visit a local, family-run olive oil factory to learn about the extra virgin olive oil production; a craft the Greeks have perfected over countless years of practice. Concluding the tour, instead of saying goodbye, drink a shot of the award-winning local spirit of ‘tsikoudia’. Trust us, it can’t get any more Greek than that!

DAY 8CHANIA (CRETE) AT LEISURE

A leisure day in Chania, Crete starts with a stroll in the Old Town, a boat trip to Thodorou, and seaside lunch. Explore museums or local shops in the afternoon. Enjoy dinner with a view at sunset and wrap up the day with Chania’s lively nightlife along Akti Tompazi promenade. Perfect blend of history, cuisine, and relaxation on this charming Cretan day.

DAY 9CHANIA (CRETE) / RHODES

At the indicated time, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Rhodes via Athens. Upon arrival on the island, you will be transferred to your hotel.

DAY 10RHODES CULTURE AND TRADITIONS TOUR

The rich ancient history of Rhodes has left an inescapable impression on the culture and tradition of the islanders who live here today. Our exclusive half-day tour will introduce you to the hidden side of the island. You’ll learn about the culture, traditions and everyday life of the islanders, focusing on a traditional way of life that has survived throughout the centuries.
Rhodes Culture & Traditions Tour begins with a visit to the Bee Museum and neighbouring Melissokomiki to discover the importance of Greek honey and enjoy a tasting of the Rhodian melekouni.
Next, the tour will take you to the picturesque village of Koskinou, 8km south of Rhodes Town. Famous for its narrow, winding streets and vibrant, colourful houses, it’s also home to the Koskinou Traditional House. Here, you’ll travel back in time 120 years, as your guide explains the customs and traditions of the islanders using the fascinating items that decorate the building.
In the following, you’ll learn about the religious life of Rhodes. Religion is an important aspect of Greek culture, and the Greek Orthodox Church is filled with symbolism and ritual. You’ll visit a traditional village church where your guide will explain the significance of religion for the islanders, describe how religion and daily life are closely entwined, and demystify the symbolism and ritual of Greek Orthodoxy.
Finally, you’ll learn about the arts and crafts of Rhodes with a visit to a traditional pottery workshop. Here, the master potter will give a pottery demonstration and explain the classic motifs that adorn Greek ceramics. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of why Greek pottery is famed around the world.
