A walk through the heart of Ancient Rome, an area rich with historical memories, where the great epic of Rome began. From Venice Square you will walk up the Capitol Hill from where you will enjoy an incredible view of the Forum. Continuing onwards we will first admire Trajan’s Column with its gorgeous bas-relief sculptures to then walk through the Roman Forum, center of the public life of ancient Rome, until we finally arrive at the Colosseum (visit inside), where, thanks to a preferred entrance ticket, you will skip the entrance line.

At the indicated time you will be transferred to the train station for your first class train ride to Naples. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Amalfi.

In Amalfi center, meet your local expert and visit the famous lemon grove of Amalfi during this private tour. At the lemon groves you’ll meet a local farmer that will explain the local farming technique. Visit with the lemon groves clinging to the sidehill of the Amalfi Coast right above Amalfi and get immersed in the typical nature and colors of the Amalfi Coast: lemon trees on small terraced fields clung to the promontory that steeply ends in the deep blue of the Mediterranean sea. Explore the true rural Amalfi Coast accompanied by a local guide and with them discover the local cultivation techniques as well as all the secrets to make the typical local delicacies made with Sfusato Amalfitano lemon. Learn how to make limoncello and enjoy a limoncello tasting. Treat yourself at a historic local patisserie established at the beginning of the 19th century. 
Here you’ll attend a private class to learn how to make local pastries like “delizia al limone”, “Santa rosa” pastry, “Scorzette di limone” with artisan chocolate.
All their delicacies, including chocolate and gelato, are still produced on site in their pastry-making laboratory. Tastings are included.

Your tour back in time continues to the Ancient Agora. It is here that democracy was born and where great philosophers such as Socrates spoke about global truths. Here you’ll have a rare chance to see the Hephaisteion, the most perfectly preserved of Greece’s temples and one shared between Athena and the God of the forge, Hephaestus. You ‘ll hear more mythical stories about Theseus and the Minotaur, the jealous wife of Zeus, Hera and Aphrodite, Goddess of love and beauty.
This walk will also help you figure out how this city was created and how it rose to become one of the greatest cities of the old world, how Athens managed to create such a reputation and such monuments that are still immortal and legendary. Just like their Gods.
