Upon your arrival in Rome, you will be greeted and tranferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy at your leisure.

DAY 2ANCIENT ROME & COLOSSEUM HALF DAY

A walk through the heart of Ancient Rome, an area rich with historical memories, where the great epic of Rome began. From Venice Square you will walk up the Capitol Hill from where you will enjoy an incredible view of the Forum. Continuing onwards we will first admire Trajan’s Column with its gorgeous bas-relief sculptures to then walk through the Roman Forum, center of the public life of ancient Rome, until we finally arrive at the Colosseum (visit inside), where, thanks to a preferred entrance ticket, you will skip the entrance line.

DAY 3ROME AT LEISURE

Savor a leisurely day in Rome, a city that captivates with its epic grandeur and fast-paced allure. Whether on a brief visit or an extended stay, Rome’s artistic masterpieces, iconic monuments, operatic piazzas, and haunting ruins leave an indelible impression. The vibrant life of the city unfolds amidst charming trattorias, upscale designer restaurants, lively street-side bars, and glamorous fashion boutiques, inviting you to immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Roman living.

DAY 4ROME / FLORENCE

Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time you will be transferred to the train station for your train ride to Florence. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Florence.

DAY 5PRIVATE WALKING TOUR OF FLORENCE

Meet your private and expert guide at your hotel and start the most complete and thrilling guided walking tour: you will visit the lively Central market zone, characterized by its workshops and multicolored stalls, where the Medici Chapels, and Basilica di S. Lorenzo, the church of Medici’s Family, are located. In a short time, you can reach Piazza del Duomo, where you can admire the Cathedral (interior visit *) and its Dome by Brunelleschi, Giotto’s Bell Tower and Saint John’s Baptistery with its Gates of Paradise. The private tour continues then, by visiting the medieval quarters where Dante Alighieri and Beatrice lived. Further on you can find the Palazzo del Bargello and a few steps away, you will reach Piazza della Signoria, a great “open-air sculpture museum”, overlooked by the imposing Palazzo Vecchio. Next to it you find the Uffizi Gallery, one of the most important museums all over the world. Your expert Guide will be glad to escort you to the picturesque Mercato della Paglia (Straw market), where the famous Piglet Fountain is located. You walk along the street that leads to Ponte Vecchio, the “jewels bridge”. By crossing the bridge, you will finally reach the wonderful Pitti Palace, where your private tour ends.

DAY 6FLORENCE / VENICE

Breakfast at the hotel. At the indicated time you will be transferred to the train station for your train ride to Venice. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel in Venice.

DAY 7MURANO BURANO & TORCELLO TOUR

With this tour you can visit the three most important islands of the Venetian lagoon. Torcello is known for being the first island to be inhabited in the Venice Lagoon: the inhabitants of Altino moved here during the 5th century. The cathedral contains some wonderful mosaics. Today, the island is known as a place of great quiet and tranquility because it has a little more than 20 residents and seems like a place that time forgot. Burano, inhabited by 3000 people, is known for its handmade lace and typical sweets “bussolai”, but also for its brightly colored houses that, it is said, were painted by its inhabitants to make them recognizable to the fishermen coming home in heavy foggy weather. Murano is known around the world for the artistic production of blown glass. Initially, the production took place in Venice, but, at that time, the buildings were made of wood and often the fire escaped from the ovens and caused dangerous fires. The government of the Republic ordered then to move the seat of the furnaces to Murano. The island also hosts the Glass Museum which contains a large collection of very ancient glass masterpieces and surely deserves a visit. In case of no show total amount will be charged.

DAY 8VENICE AT LEISURE

Venice is an unparalleled city. Beyond the familiar images, the reality is more dreamlike than imagined. Canals replace streets, water sparkles everywhere. Magnificent palaces and churches tell tales of centuries as a prosperous trading center between Europe and the Orient. Getting lost in the narrow alleyways is an essential part of the Venetian charm.

DAY 9VENICE / AIRPORT

According to your departure flight, you will be transferred to the airport of Venice, marking the conclusion of our services.
