DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN ATHENS GREECE
Upon your arrival in Athens, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel. Balance of day at leisure to explore vibrant Athens.
DAY 2: ACROPOLIS MUSEUM & ACROPOLIS FULL DAY GUIDED SMALL GROUP TOUR
Kick-off your ancient Athens mythology experience with a visit at the magnificent Temple of Olympian Zeus which was, and still is, the unofficial entry point to Athens and the mythological start of this glorious city.
From there, your top-rated guide will take you all the way to the Theater of Dionysus and then the magnificent Acropolis. In Acropolis you will visit the Temple of Athena Nike, the Temple of Erechtheion, the Propylaia and of course, the marvelous Parthenon.
Here, the most famous ancient myths come to life, stories concerning beings such as almighty Zeus; his daughter Athena, goddess of wisdom and protector of Athens; Poseidon, god of the sea; and Dionysus, god of wine. But what’s even more intriguing is that you’ll also find out what truths hide behind these myths and why the Ancient Greeks created them.
Your ancient Athens experience continues to the Ancient Agora. It is here that democracy was born and where great philosophers such as Socrates spoke about global truths. But here you'll also learn about Theseus and the Minotaur; about Hera, the ever-jealous wife of Zeus; and about Aphrodite, goddess of love and beauty.
Through the myths you will finally understand how Athens managed to create such a reputation and such monuments that are still immortal and legendary.
After a short break during which you’ll have some free time for a quick lunch at a spot of your own choice, you will reach one of the world's most important museums, the Acropolis Museum, filled with a vast collection of beautiful objects from thousands of years ago and world-famous for its stunning Parthenon Marbles.
As no ancient Athens experience is complete without meeting the people of Athens, you will be introduced to two Athenians from the city’s Golden Age, whose everyday lives you'll explore as you move through the exhibits. Their personal stories are hidden in the things they left behind, the artifacts that we encounter at the museum today. Your expert guide will lead the way connecting the past to the present through a series of fun games and activities. As you take part in the activities, you'll learn all about Ancient Greek history and culture.
By the time you finish this museum adventure, you will know what made this ancient city so special, and you'll understand, too, the modern relevance of its crowning glory, the Acropolis.
DAY 3: ATHENS / MYKONOS
Early morning transfer to the port of Athens (Piraeus) to board the ferry to the island of Mykonos. Upon your arrival on the island, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel.
DAY 4: DELOS GUIDED TOUR
Visit one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece :
THE ANCIENT SACRED ISLAND OF DELOS !
Only a 45 minute boat ride away from Mykonos Delos was the centre of the Cyclades of the ancient world, the island of light, birthplace of Apollon and Artemis, home to the first multicultural civilization and trade.
There is a lot to see: having been inhabited between 2500 and 69 b.C. Delos boasts of many treasures remaining from these times like the ancient market place Agora, the famous terrace of the Naxos lions, the holy lake, the ancients living quarters and theatre that give you a lively vision of the daily life then; especially the houses of Dionysos, Kleopatra, the Trident, the Masks, the Dolphins with their mosaics are a fantastic experience of art not to be missed.
Furthermore there are the Temple of Isis, the Egyptian goddess, the Roman water system and cisterns and the wonderful museum with plenty of breathtaking mosaics, statues and many more objects found during the excavations.
On our guided tour you depart at 10am from the old pier in Mykonos Town and you return at 2.30 pm. If you wish to remain a little bit longer you can also take the last boat back at 3 pm in order to have some time at leisure or maybe climb on Mount Kynthos to enjoy the view over all the surrounding Cycladic islands.
DAY 5: MYKONOS / SANTORINI
At the indicated time you will be transferred to the port to board the ferry to Santorini. Upon arrival in Santorini, you will be met and transferred to your selected hotel.
DAY 6: SANTORINI,  MORNING SEMI-PRIVATE HALF DAY TOUR
Explore Santorini with a 4 hour morning tour of the island (with experienced English speaking driver).
Visually, Santorini is the most spectacular of the isles in the Cyclades. With its brilliant flooded caldera, high cliffs and charming villages, it is the Greek Isle of everyone’s dreams. Our tour will take us to Santorini’s highest peak, crowned by the Mount Profitis Ilias Monastery. At 883 feet, Mt. Profitis Ilias rugged landscape is largely composed of volcanic rocks as a result of hundreds of eruptions during the last two million years, some of them being large caldera-forming events. Here, in this remote spot, we’ll have an ideal photo opportunity to capture the beauty of this ancient island.
We’ll discover the village of Pyrgos, which was the capital of Santorini until 1800. Here we’ll be able to admire the beautiful old houses and the Venetian Fortress crowned by several churches.
Our half-day tour then takes us to one of the island’s most famous traditional wineries. Viniculture is an ancient art in Santorini, and the fact that vines thrive at all is amazing considering the fact that the island has limited water resources. But the volcanic soil is an excellent medium for producing grapes, especially the Assyrtiko grape – a rare, white variety.
After our visit, we’ll drive through the countryside to visit Oia. This traditional Greek village of whitewashed cubes is perched impossibly high on cliffs at the north west tip of the island. Here, take in the stunning views of the island from one of the charming cafés or stroll above the rooftops of the homes carved into the cliffs and gaze into the deep blue waters of the caldera far below.
Balance of the day at leisure to enjoy the sun, the unforgettable view and the most romantic sunset in the world.
DAY 7: SANTORINI
Day at leisure to enjoy the sun, the unforgettable view and the most romantic sunset in the world. Santorini is the essence of a Greek island, where sea meets weather-beaten rock and colors are bold and elemental. Blue-domed chapels stand on hilltops; houses are simple white cubes, sunsets flamboyant orange. The half-moon island, with its rearing cliffs and dramatic outlooks, is all that remains of a huge volcanic explosion. Inland, fertile soils provide a softer landscape of silvery olive trees, fields of tomatoes and neatly pegged vineyards that produce sweet amber-colored wine.
DAY 8: SANTORINI / ATHENS / DUBROVNIK
At the indicated time you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Dubrovnik via Athens. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
