ITINERARY:
Day 01 Fri : Istanbul
Upon your arrival, you will be met by
our representative before transfer to your Hotel. Spend
the rest of the day at your own leisure
.
Day 02 Sat : Istanbul
After breakfast at the hotel, a guided
tour to Topkapi Palace , St. Sophia, Blue Mosque and the
Grand Bazaar will commence. The day
ends with an overnight stay in Istanbul. Optional dinner
with a Turkish show is avaliable
tonight.(B)
Day 03 Sun: Cappadocia
After breakfast, we depart for Ankara
where we will visit Mausoleum of Ataturk and its
Museum. This is the burial place of the
national hero who founded modern Republic of Turkey.
We then depart for Cappadocia . After a
picturesque trip along the Salt Lake , wewill arrive in
Cappadocia for an overnight stay. (BD)
Day 04 Mon : Cappadocia
Early in the morning an optional
Balloon tour is available. Then, full day excursion in
Cappadocia including visits to the
Kaymakli Underground City, Open Air Museum in Goreme
and natural fortress in Uchisar. Here,
we will have the opportunity to discover and understand
the rich history behind local
handicrafts like hand-made carpets ,Turkish tiles, onyx and
potteries.Overnight stay in Cappadocia.

Day 05 Tue : Pamukkale
Early departure for Pamukkale. On the
way, visit the 13th century Seljukian masterpiece
Sultanhan Caravanserai before arrival
in Konya. After visiting the Mausoleum of Mevlana, we
continue our drive to Pamukkale for an
overnight stay. (BD)
Day 06 Wed : Kusadasi
After breakfast, visit the ancient
Hierapolis with the magnificent Necropolis, graveyard and
the
lime cascade.Thereafter, we continue
our drive to Selcuk to visit Temple of Artemis ‘one of the
seven wonders of the ancient world’
then continue to Kusadasi for overnight stay. (BD)
Day 07 Thu: Kusadasi
Morning drive to Ancient city of
Ephesus where we will visit its magnificent library, theater
and
temples. Then, we continue to Virgin
Mary’s House. In the afternoon, experience and
participate in an upbeat fashion show
showcasing the unique leatherproducts manufactured in
Turkey. Overnight stay in Kusadasi.

Day 08 Fri: Canakkale
Early departure for Bergama to visit
the Acropol with its well preserved remains before
continuing to Troy ; the site where the
legendary Trojan War took place. Drive to Canakkale for
an overnight stay. (B,D)
Day 09 Sat: Istanbul
After breakfast, we will cross the
Dardanelles then continue to Gallipoli to visit Anzac Cove ,
Nek , Conk Bair , Lone Pine and 57.th
regiment memorial as well as the war museum. Arrival
in Istanbul and overnight. (B)
Day 10 Sun : Istanbul -Thessalonike
Today you will be transferred to
Sirkeci Railway station which is also known as the last stop
for
the famous Orient Express. Our journey
will take about 12 hours for the train ride to
Thessaloniki. The history of Orient
Express goes back to 1883 where the first trains operated
to Europe by that time. Istanbul has
been one of the highlight cities of this train services.
This
ride gives you a unique opportunity to
travel along the route where Orient Express has
operated for many decades. Overnight in

Day 11 Mon: Thessaloniki
Upon arrival you will be transferred to
your hotel in Thessaloniki where you will stay for 1 night.
Today there will be an optional tour of the city.
Thessaloniki retains several and structures as well
as a large number of monuments.

Day 12 Tue: Athens
After breakfast you will be transferred
to the airport for your flight to Athens. Upon arrival you
will be transferred to your hotel where you will stay for 1
night. You will be mesmerized by Athens with
its history and culture. (B)
Day 13 Wed.: Athens
Morning sightseeing tour of Athens includes visit to the
Acropolis and its museum. Balance of day at leisure
Day 14 Thu.: Athens / Airport
According to your departure flight, you will be transferred
to the airport. |
